Drayton Hammond received his PharmD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2012. Thereafter, he completed 2 years of postgraduate residency training before beginning his career as a board-certified critical care pharmacist. Currently, he is the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program Director and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the medical ICU at Rush University Medical Center. He is an active member in the Society of Critical Care Medicine and American College of Clinical Pharmacy and has published over 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts, including many in the areas of sepsis and septic shock.
