Breast Tumor Board at Jersey City Medical Center

1. Perform a multidisciplinary team review of the pathologic, radiologic, surgical findings to determine the final clinical oncologic diagnosis of each case.
2. Determine the options that would most effectively benefit the specific patient in question, along with the reasoning for each choice, which encompasses the recognition and handling of the psychosocial elements of patient care.
3. Appropriately identify and define staging (TNM) for each breast cancer type and identify appropriate radiological modalities used in the diagnoses.
4. Implement the optimal practices of evidence-based breast cancer treatment established by the American College of Surgeons, the American Cancer Society, the American College of Clinical Oncology, and other esteemed authorities in oncology.
