Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:


  1. Describe the basic indications for, and principles of, performing cardiac imaging studies.
  2. Recognize the proper technique of performing, interpretation, and potential complications of performing cardiac imaging studies.
  3. Analyze cardiovascular decision-making processes and judgment to identify specific approaches to cardiac patient management and care.
