CCE:Quartet: Motivational Interviewing

Jointly with the Center for Continuing Education at Rutgers Health UBHC, Quartet provides this webinar for healthcare providers in the Quartet system.  In this webinar, the learner will hear about the evidence-based practice of Motivational Interviewing.  The webinar discusses what MI is and is not, the four fundamental practices of MI, and when to use MI in clinical practice.

1. Investigate the Spirit of Motivational Interviewing.
2. Discuss the four fundamental processes of Motivational Interviewing.

How to Access the Material: In order to access the content and post-test, please click on the "Register" tab to complete your registration.  Once registered, please click on the "Online Content & Tests" tab to access the material.

How to Receive CE Credit: Participants should review the activity in its entirety and then complete the post-test which consists of a series of multiple choice questions. Upon completing the activity as designed, achieving a passing score of 75% or more on the post-test, and completing the evaluation, participants will be able to download their CE Certificate.

Nurses: This activity is awarded 1.0 contact hours (60 min CH). Nurses should claim only those contact hours commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
