Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity the learner will be able to: 


  1. Explain the theoretical foundation of ABFT.
  2. Discuss the empirical support for ABFT.
  3. Describe the five treatment task structure of the model.
  4. Identify the strategies used in the five treatment tasks.
  5. Explain how to organize therapy around interpersonal growth rather than behavioral management.
