Objectives
  Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Link the etiology, pathogenesis, and effects of the various disease process on patients
  2. Synthesize the updated and revised classifications of diseases in order to optimize therapy and patient care
  3. Interpret laboratory results in the context of the underlying disease
  4. Correlate the signs and symptoms with which the patient presents to the underlying disease
