Overview
This Preceptor -only activity will review the communication and learning styles among various generations from the baby boomers to Gen Z.  The learners will be able to identify the differences in preferred learning styles and become more effective in their teaching.

Objectives
  Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

 


  1. Identify personal as well as generational characteristics
  2. Identify key literature-based iGen (Generation Z) characteristics and contrast them with previous generations of students
  3. Compare and contrast your own generational traits with iGen (Generation Z) traits
  4. Recognize how health professions curricula, teaching styles, and behaviors can be strategically adapted to meet the educational needs of our current learners without compromising the quality of educational experiences
