The Nurtured Heart Approach® Certification Training Intensive

1. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the conceptual framework of the Nurtured Heart Approach.
2. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the 3 Stands of the Nurtured Heart Approach, including the ability to deliver effective recognition statements.
3. Demonstrate the skills to build Inner Wealth™ through development of relationships, intentional reflection of successes, and established limits.
4. Demonstrate relentless positivity and clarity, despite challenging circumstances.
5. Develop strategies for the use of NHA within one’s self talk and adult relationships, within a cultural context.

Registration is through Rutgers CloudCME.

Payments may only be made through credit card, debit cards and purchase orders.

Purchase orders must be finalized by February 2, 2026, through [email protected].

Credit card and debit card refunds will be honored 10 days prior to first day of event, February 20, 2026.

Refund requests after February 20, 2026, will be applied to a future CTI. 

There are no refunds for purchase orders (PO). Finalized purchase orders can only be applied to a future CTI.

In support of improving patient care, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.  

      Social Workers (The New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners):  This program is approved for social work continuing education hours by Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care in accordance with New Jersey administrative code 13:44G-6.4 and recognized by The New Jersey Board of Social Work Examiners.  This program is approved for 29.0 general continuing education hours

Certified Counselors:  Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6198.  Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.  Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.  (29.0 Clock Hours).

Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT/LMFT): This course has been approved for 29 recertification credits for Marriage and Family Therapists to The Certification Board of NJ, Inc. Recertificate code: 200030626RECs29

Psychologists: This course is approved for 29 CE Credits. Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
