Let AI Make Us Better Professors

This faculty development continuing education session examines integrated AI workflows for comprehensive NP course design. Reprised and adapted from the 2026 NONPF national conference presentation 'Beyond Individual Tasks: Integrated AI Workflows for Comprehensive NP Course Design,' this session moves past isolated AI tool use to show nursing faculty how to connect multiple AI tools across the full course development cycle — from learning objective alignment and case-based content creation to assessment design and learner feedback generation. Participants will leave with concrete workflow frameworks applicable to their current course portfolios and a practical understanding of how to evaluate, adopt, and sustain AI tools within accredited NP programs. 

1. Describe at least three integrated AL workflow applications across the NP course design cycle, from learning objective alignment through assessment development.
2. Apply an integrated Al workflow to at least one course design task within their current NP program teaching responsibilities.
3. Evaluate the quality and reliability of AI-generated educational content using discipline-specific and accreditation-aligned criteria.
4. Develop a personal adoption plan for integrating AI workflows into their NP program course development process.
