Integrated License Regulations: What New Jersey Clinicians Need to Know

This program will provide clinicians with a practical overview of New Jersey's new integrated facility licensing regulations and what they mean for health care organizations delivering primary care, behavioral health, and substance use disorder services. Participants will learn how the new regulatory framework streamlines licensure, supports integrated care delivery, and creates new opportunities for telehealth, mobile and alternative care sites, and shared clinical leadership. The session will also explore the implementation process, including transitional licensure requirements, the relationship between Department of Health licensing and Department of Human Services program and payment requirements, and key operational considerations providers should understand as they prepare for implementation.

1. Describe the purpose and key components of New Jersey's Integrated Facility Licensing regulations.
2. Explain how the regulations affect integrated care delivery, clinical operations, compliance, and alternative care models, including telehealth and mobile services.
3. Identify practical steps health care organizations and clinicians can take to prepare for implementation and navigate the transition to the new regulatory framework.
