Overview

This interactive session will explore innovative, creative, and practical teaching strategies designed to engage today’s learners and enhance the educational experience. Participants will discover how to maximize tools already at their fingertips—such as Canvas and Google collaborations—while thoughtfully incorporating emerging technologies and artificial intelligence, including ChatGPT, OpenEvidence, Canva, and NotebookLM. The session will also highlight gamification and interactive platforms such as Kahoot!, Factile, and Slido to promote active participation, knowledge retention, and learner engagement. Through real-world examples and strategies that can be easily adapted across courses and learning environments, the goal is to inspire faculty to rethink traditional approaches to teaching and leave with practical ideas they can immediately incorporate into their own classrooms.
