Overview

The goal of the program is to provide local, national and world wide statistics about human trafficking, define the term "human trafficking", instruct the audience about how to recognize for signs of potential victims of human trafficking and what to do to help victims of human trafficking.

Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Define human trafficking.
  2. Recognize signs of human trafficking.
  3. Perform a physical assessment for potential victim of human trafficking.
  4. Understand how to communicate with a potential victim of human trafficking.
  5. Provide local and national resources available to refer and assist victims of human trafficking.
