Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Describe current and new management and prevention strategies used for various otolaryngologic diseases and patient types
  2. Correlate the clinical presentation with pathologic, laboratory, and radiologic information and the pathophysiology of otolaryngologic diseases
  3. Demonstrate understanding of current trends in otolaryngologic disease research that may be translated into improving patient care within the clinical practice
  4. Identify the indications and contraindications for current and new modalities in the diagnosis and treatment of otolaryngologic diseases
  5. Use best practices to improve communication to patients and providers to enhance patient care
