Overview
This live, virtual seminar is for athletes, mental health and addiction professionals, coaches, students, community leaders, mentors and all looking to improve opportunities for self awareness.

Target Audience
Specialties - Behavioral Health, Other Clinical , Psychology, Social Work

Objectives
Upon completion of this course attendees will be able to:

  1. Describe at least 2 strategies to utilize when working with couples in challenging situations such as intimate partner violence or barriers to detecting communication deficits.
  2. Identify conflicts of interest, clinical responsibilities and potential legal issues in couples work.
  3. Determine ways to improve clinical effectiveness by recognizing situations in the treatment setting that are categorized as triggers for transference and countertransferrence.
  4. Discover at least 2 tools to improve the comfort level of the therapist and couple to foster a collaborative counseling relationship.
  5. Analyze previous clinical situations requiring improvement.
