Overview
The intent of this program is to provide continual development to pharmacists who precept students in the Intermediate and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE and APPE).  The overall purpose of this activity is for the audience who are preceptors of the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy to gain a better understanding and importance of entrustable professional activities and telehealth medicine on pharmacy practice and teaching.

Objectives
  Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

 


  1. Describe the state of entrustable professional activities (EPAs) utilization within construct of experiential education.
  2. Define the expected levels of "entrustability" for current P4 pharmacy students' APPE rotations.
  3. Discuss successes and challenges of implementing EPAs as an assessment construct within APPEs.
  4. Explain telehealth and telepharmacy services.
  5. Describe telepharmacy service models and their impact on process and patient outcomes.
  6. Identify potential limitations of telehealth services and discuss strategies to overcome barriers to deliver safe and effective telehealth services.

This Continuing Education activity is targeted exclusively to EMSOP Preceptors.  All attendees must complete the pre test, post test and evaluation in order to receive CE credit.   On Friday, January 21, 2022, all registrants will receive the Zoom lecture virtual link  as well as an instructional in order to complete the pre, post tests and evaluation for credit.

Mandatory Tests for Preceptor CE Jan 24, 2022
For Preceptors only.   Pre and post test as well as Evaluation must be completed in order to earn CE credit for this activity.  The pre and post tests are to be completed up to one hour before (pre-test)and one hour after (post-test) this ce activity.  Evaluation are to be completed within one week.
