Overview
This continuing pharmacy education activity is intended to provide pharmacists with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act for Pharmacy Practice.  By delving into the key provisions, stakeholders' roles, compliance requirements, and practical implications for pharmacy practice, learners will gain invaluable insights into ensuring the integrity and security of the drug supply chain.  Equipped with this understanding, pharmacists will be better prepared to implement necessary measures, leverage emerging technologies, and optimize workflows to meet regulatory standards while delivering high quality care to patients.

Objectives
  Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

 


  1. Enumerate the key provisions and objectives of the Drug Supply chain Security Act (DSCSA).
  2. Identify the stakeholders involved in the pharmaceutical supply chain and their respective responsibilities under the DSCSA.
  3. Describe the various requirements and timelines outlined in the DSCSA for the implementation of enhanced drug tracking and tracing systems.
  4. Discuss strategies for ensuring compliance with the DSCSA, including methods for verifying product authenticity and handling suspect of illegitimate medications.

Only if you registered, you will receive the virtual presentation link one day prior to March 15th scheduled meeting.  Attendance will be taken

At the end of this presentation, you will sign back into Rutgers.cloud-cme.com using the same email address you registered with, go to MyCE, and complete the Evaluation.  Within 30 days, you will see your 1.0 law contact hour on your CPE Monitor.
