Objectives
  Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Recognize the basic indications for, and principles of, performing right and left heart catheterization and coronary angiography
  2. Identify the nuances of interpretation of findings on right and left heart catheterization, including coronary angiographic images and right and left heart pressure tracings
  3. Recognize the indications for proper technique and potential complications of performing percutaneous coronary interventions, as well as when to refer the patent for coronary bypass surgery
  4. Analyze cardiovascular decision making processes and judgment to identify specific approaches to cardiac patient management and care
  5. Describe the management options for specific presented cases in agreement with current guidelines and identify those that would best serve the individual patient being discussed
