Objectives

At the conclusion of this series, learners should be better able to:
  1. Recognize the key issues in the diagnosis, staging and treatment of liver and neuroendocrine cancer, including the discussion of prognosis factors
  2. Provide a multidisciplinary approach of case management to enhance the improvement of patient care
  3. Analyze oncological provider's opinions to identify approaches to patient management and care including primary surgical and adjuvant treatment, quality of life, management of treatment-related side effects and standard post-treatment surveillance care
  4. Discuss evidence for recommended treatment course
  5. Determine a patient's eligibility for clinical trials that are available
  6. Apply novel technology for regional treatment of hepatic malignancies
