Overview

The goal of the program is to provide local, national and global statistics about human trafficking; present the various forms of "human trafficking"; recognize signs of potential victims of human trafficking and how to respond when confronted with a victim of human trafficking.

A certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the course.

Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  1. Define human trafficking
  2. Recognize the normal physiology of cardiac conduction
  3. Perform a physical assessment for a potential victim of Human Trafficking.
  4. Understand how to communicate with a potential victim of human trafficking.
  5. Identify resources available to refer and assist victims of human trafficking.
