Reducing the nation's preterm birth rate to 5.5% by 2030 is an ambitious goal.  This on-demand webinar contributes to the realization of that urgent objective with the knowledge and tools for substantive impact. The agenda includes updates on leading prevention strategies such as birth spacing, low dose aspirin and 17 alpha-hydroxyprogesterone caproate (17P); as well as a discussion of new care models, the impact of racial disparity and role of perinatal risk assessment. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of increased risks for preterm birth, barriers to women receiving appropriate treatment and how the enhanced Perinatal Risk Assessment Tool can be used for patient care.
